Bruno’s Sacha Baron Cohen sued for £70 Million

A peace activist and Palestinian grocer from Bethlehem named Ayman Abu Aita, sued Sacha Baron Cohen for libel damages after being portrayed as a terrorist in Bruno.

Ayman Abu Aita said that is ruined his life and now he’s a firm opponent of terrorists and received death threats after the release of the movie Bruno.

Ayman Abu Aita also said that he was tricked in an interview thinking that Sacha Baron Cohen was a German producing a film about the Palestinian cause.

Cohen told David Letterman on his show last July that they found the “real terrorist” through a CIA contact.

If the guy isn’t a terrorist he probably should get some money as that’s a pretty libelous statement, but 70 million pounds is kinda too much.
