Debbie Harry- the star and the front woman of Blondie who has a new album Panic of Girls and is out this month. Harry is already 65 years old but still had a wonderful, clear as ever voice.
Debbie still manages to hit the high notes she was known of. She said that she started protecting her voice and ensured that her vocals have not deteriorated as she got older. Debbie said “I do my fair share of shouting, but we lower the key,” she joked. “I’ve been practicing. I got to a point where I was interested in studying and learning how to do it as opposed to just fudging along. I do protect it [my voice].”
The best thing Debbie Harry imparted was that to take responsibility of one’s life and give it your all. It’s not relying your happiness to anyone and to something will fulfil you.
She believes it’s important to live exactly as you want and to “take responsibility” for your own happiness rather than relying on someone, or something, to fulfill you.
