The 3D epic set on alien planet Pandora took another £4.7m over the weekend, bringing its four-week total to almost £41 million. Making it earn a huge amount from other films below.

Robert Downey Jr film Sherlock Holmes posed little threat with £2.02m in box office takings, remaining at two.

Vampire movie Daybreakers, starring Ethan Hawke, made its debut at three.

Animated family film Alvin and the Chipmunks: The Squeakquel fell one place to four while romantic comedy It’s Complicated was the second highest new entry at five.

The film stars Meryl Streep as a restaurateur caught in a love triangle with her ex-husband played by Alec Baldwin and an architect, played by Steven Martin.

The much-hyped film version of Cormac McCarthy’s post-apocalyptic novel The Road made its debut at six with Hugh Grant and Sarah Jessica Parker film Did You Hear about the Morgans? down three places at seven.

Nine with its all-star cast also fell three spots to eight, as did St Trinian’s 2: The Legend of Fritton’s Gold at nine.

Ian Dury biographical drama Sex & Drugs & Rock & Roll starring Lord of the Rings’ Andy Serkis was the final new entry at 10.

Usher should have left all his belongings back at home. It was reported that $1 million worth of jewelry, electronics and cash stolen from his car last month.

Atlanta’s FOX 5 News confirmed that the bounty was stolen from the singer’s car on December 14. The alleged theft reportedly happened across the street from the Lenox Mall in the Atlanta area where he parked his car.

According to them the theft is at his early 20’s who confidently pull up to the SUV and break into the car.

The singer’s GMC Yukon was broken into and over a million dollars worth of jewelry, $50,000 in furs and clothing and about $20,000 in cash were snatched.

The alleged incident is currently under investigation.

Usher expressed his dismays on his twitter account.

Last August, she was also involved in a hit and run accident and now, she was caught up in another collision in Santa Monica, California.

Leann Rimes reported the accident after she had a talk with the motorist involved.

Leann Rimes’ marriage has just ended this summer because of her affair with Eddie Cibrian. Eddie Cibrian is a Norther Lights co-star. Leann Rimes and Eddie Cibrian are now a couple and Leann Rimes said that she will be divorcing Dean Sheremet this month (September).

President Obama called Kanye West a “Jackass” due to his actions during the video music awards acceptance speech of Taylor Swift. Good for Kanye West for disrespecting Taylor Swift for what he did to her. The comment was tweeted but been removed right away by ABC News Terry Moran. According to Politico:
