Looks like magic spell won’t work against swine flu.
A Harry Potter star named Rupert Grint who plays Ron Weasly, Harry Potter’s pal caught the notorious bug while filming the latest movie in the wizard series but will be able to attend Tuesday’s London premiere of Harry Potter and the Half-Blood Prince.
Rupert Grint’s rep said “It has just been confirmed that Rupert Grint has taken a few days out of filming due to a mild bout of swine flu”. “He has now recovered and is looking forward to joining his fellow cast members at the junket and premieres this week and will then return to filming directly afterwards.”
Rupert Grint’s doctor said that the actor is not contagious.
Filmmakers of Harry Potter and the Deathly Hallows were able to continue the shoot without the presence of Rupert Grint and no production days were lost.
